And those of you who live in the Seattle area know that making yourself work RIGHT NOW, while it is THIS gorgeous, is not easy. But since I have this view...I really can't complain.
I spend time at my little table next to the window, and when I need fresh air, I go to the beach right outside the door and pull up a piece of drift wood (along with my notebook and pencil)...

Yeah, I'm right there. Gotta be uncluttered. If I can be outside, so much the better.
There's also a great rain forest section of the Fort Wayne Botanical Conservatory that I don't get to as as often as I when I lived in FW, but that really got me charged and going.
I need to be surrounded by nothing or by nature. Then my mind is ready.
But, man, not much outside my Indiana windows that looks like what you have outside yours, Jolie.
Nevets...I think every place has its own beauty, but on a days like today, I think I may live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth (we've been quite lucky to have many such days lately).
You have the most gorgeous writing space. I want a beach-side writing room too!
