Or not.
I'm the or not.
At least they don't write LOSER across the word count bar. And, I must say, nothing about 27,000 (or almost that many) words feels like losing.
After the long Thanksgiving weekend, it's to get back to normal...
Nothing has been normal for the last week and a half. Kids have had half days of school and then a four-day weekend. Time to get back to a five-day weeks consisting of full school days and a typical schedule. Not that four days of great food, time with family, and a house now filled with Christmas cheer hasn't been wonderful, but...I'm ready to get back to it.
Congrats to all those who made it to the NaNo finish line!

You are AMAZING!!! 27,000 words is fantabulous.
That's fantastic! You and I were pretty darned close - which, I'd say, is way past fantastic for two overcommitted writer-mommies.
So...are there any more wild writing days in your future? Something a little more reasonable, like 3k...?
Thanks, Holly and Jaime!
Yes, Holly, I feel pretty darn good about 27K and I'm sure I'll slow a bit. Maybe start to explore the micro instead of cruising through the macro...
But yes, many writing days in the future. We are sure to distract each other (and encourage each other) during the month ahead...or at least I hope so.
Just think those words did not exist a month ago. I say congrads to everyone who wrote during that time!

You ROCK. 27k is incredible -- especially for a mom. I don't know how you do it. Insanity!
Congratulations :) I'm so proud of you!!
