CRACK YOUR W-I-P: Friday Frenzy

Shall we call it that? A gathering on Friday to produce a frenzy of work before the weekend hits?

I wish I could say I were back at that little cafe table by the loose brick.

Unfortunately for me, I'm not.

I'm afraid I'm stuck at home today, while my car is in the shop. Which means I'm home praying to the car-repair gods that the reason the engine light is on is no big deal.

Me working from home = Need help from writerly friends to produce.

Who's with me today?

Let's cheer each other on. I'm shooting for 2K!

I'm here, at home. So far, editing the words I wrote from the last few days, not especially encouraged, but keeping the butt in the chair...right after I get my cup of tea.

Yat-Yee - But you're working. Nothing beats B-I-C. And you get to the wear the first-to-jump-in tiara. *places on head* It makes you sparkly!

I am working at the Northern Colorado Writers Studio. My writing today will consist of web content and putting together my notes for my workshop tomorrow.

I all for cheering each other on. Writing can be a lonely business.

I'm in. How are you doing?

I'll be working today, but I aim to get as much writing done tomorrow as I can!
Great idea though. I love the combination of motivation and comapnionship!

How's everyone doing. Hope it's going faster for all you than it is for me. I'm nearing 500 words...definitely a "like pullling teeth" day.

But I say to you all...go, go, go!

I hope everyone is feeling the motivation. How did the weekend get here so soon? I think I need a cup of tea also Yat-Yee. Here's to writing another 1000 words before Ghost Whisperer comes on tonight!

I am done for the day. Errands, bah!

Hope your cup of tea helps you as it did me, Jane!

1,346 new words. Smooth writing to all.

Way to go, Yat-Yee!

I'm at 1118. Not too bad for a slow day but would love another burst of inspiration (maybe after some lunch!).

I'm too late to join in this week. But next week I'd like to give it a go.

Shoot, I work on Fridays, otherwise I'd be joining you. Sounds like a great idea. If my work schedule changes, I'm in!

Cuppa Jolie said...

Jane - Hope those thousand words beat the Ghost Whisperer. :)

Welcome, Bish and MG! We've got all month (and then some!).

I'll be checking in Monday - Friday and offering a place to gather and cheer each other on as we work on our W-I-Ps all month.

I'll look forward to seeing you here again.

I hope you made it. I'm needing to crack the wip whip on myself.

Have a great day!

Lotusgirl - Yes! YES! Crack that wip whip.

Katie - Thanks for the Mississippi (that's fun to type, don't know if I ever have)cheering. I'm sending big cheers from Washington to you. Go, go, go!

I'll be posting soon!
