You know what? I completely agree. And that's why I think it's great to have it happen in November. Even if I don't get to 50,000 words, I know I will have written so many more words than I would have if I wasn't playing along.
November's so full of family situations: school conferences, music concerts, half days at school, and two kids with strep throat. And that's just been in the last two days. But I will find time to write where I can.

I'll let you know how many words I'm able to capture in my licorice lasso. And feel free to join in.

Whoaa! That cowgirl doll-cake with the licorice lasso is super funny!!!
It's 10 am on the east coast. I've been working since 6 (with lots of kid distractions in between) and FINALLY I'm done :)
I hope your word round up goes well today Jolie.
Kim, I know she is funny, isn't she? That lasso is sort of inspiration for me today though. Yay for being done. I'm just getting started.
She's great! I love it! Today I have you-know-who pie dough and writing group, but I might manage to finish the words left over from yesterday if I set her to work on something...yay!
There was supposed to be a comma in there somewhere. ;)
I love my verification word: upturged.
Holly, I think I "upturged" some words today. I was a little bit relaxed with my giddy-up and go today but I did manage to wrangle in a little over 3000 words which feels great. I'm thankful for each one.
