hi jolie,
i came across your blog a few weeks ago and i really am enjoying your posts and insights into the world of children's book publishing. i am an aspiring writer myself and am working on my first manuscript. i hope that someday our paths will cross, perhaps at a future SCBWI event.
a coffee question for you - have you ever had pleasant morning buzz from whole foods? it is my coffee of choice. and don't let the name fool you, it is good all day long.
take care, take it easy.

Great interviews, Jolie! So these are the two lucky gals who sat by you at the Writer's Intensives.

I have a question for Jill: did her manuscript once have a really long title involving Christmas and a hood ornament? I heard Michael Bourret talk about meeting that author at the WI and wondered if it's the same book.

For Ann, I hope to see you at the launch party this Fri!

Jolie,

What a great interview! I'm sick I'll miss Ann's visit to Seattle but will call and ask to have a book set aside for me. And I'll add Jill's to my to-read list.

Next time I see you, I am DEFINITELY sitting to your left.

Holly, you are right about JIll's title.

Sherrie, I hope it counts for something, too!
