It's Wednesday, which means Laini has a Mr. Linky up to post a new March mini-NaNo goal for the week. Go on now, commit to what you want to get done between now and next Wednesday. Then, head back here and we'll linger in comments together as we work toward it today!
My goal this week: 7500 words.

My word count has been all over the place this past week and don't even know how to come up with a good figure.
Yat-Yee - At least your word count has been some place, right?
I'm just over 800 words this morning and wonder how I ever pulled off 5000 word days.
I can't imagine ever trying for more than 3000 words in one day let alone 5000! My new goal is a simple "500 words that count" word count. That way when I write more I get to be proud of myself. I think 800 words needs to be celebrated!
I've written my 500 words, did a few hours of research and worked on queries. Now I'm pretending my son Alex is a little toddler again while I listen to "Little Bear" on Nick Jr.
I like the 500-word/day goal, too. That means I can make progress on my WIP and also do the rest of my work. I just finished my 500, and will be working on a revision of something else this afternoon. Whew!
I wonder how you ever pulled off 5000 word days, too. I've never been able to. Good luck with your 7,500!
I've set myself 3,00 words this week and today I've completed 654. Will head back to another chapter that I need to revise for my crit group.
I am feeling really aggravated right now; the cold I thought I'd licked is now back to taunt me. Hates it.
Great motivation. I'd accept the challenge if I weren't overwhelmed at the moment.
BTW - I've given you a One Lovely Blog Award - today on my blog.
Thanks, everyone.
You all seem to be setting good and realistic goals. I agree that 500 words seems just right to continue moving your story forward each day.
BUT, I do have to say, I would like to attempt one 5000 word day once this month. It is a fun and exciting challenge (really, it is!). Anyone interested? It must be done with company. It must.
Thank you, Megan. The award is much appreciated.
Yat-Yee - Feel better!!!
